strings.
D'addario EJ-16s are a good phosphor bronze light gauge guitar string set.

You can certainly drop to a lighter string (11's or even 10's) that
will make it a bit easier to play, but you will give up a bit of sound by
doing it. I play D'Addario Phosphor Bronze and have been very happy with
them. Also, remember that as you play your finger tips will become
hardened and it will get better/easier.... Good luck...! Bud

Hi... I just started playing the acoustic guitar. I'm moving along at a slow
rate but I'm getting better. I was wondering if anyone would know what's a
good string to use. I have a lauren acoustic guitar. Im not fimilar with
what gauge is better. My strings are super hard and I'm having a hard time
pushing them down. Would it benefit me as a beginner to have a string that's
easier to push down. Or stay with the strings I have now?
