area once a month and have about 80 pickers show up for it. If you can find
something like that similar in your area and let some experienced guitar
players take a look, they would be more then glad to help.

I do have a music store near me. This is actually where I bought the guitar.
When I bought it told him I didn't want something to expensive since I was
just beginning and wasn't sure how well I would adapt to it. I'm fairly sure
that my guitar isn't a very good quality just by listening to differnt
sounds of guitars. Or maybe it's just user error. LOL. It's kinda hard
because there isn't really anyone I feel comfortable asking here. So I'm not
sure if my technique is correct. I do hear some improvment in my sound. I'm
just having a hard time getting my fingers to transition correctly at
atleast a medium pace. I'm am learning that if I postion my fingers certain
ways it is easier to hold the strings down though. I really thank you for
responding and I'll look into the action on my guitar. Although it looks
pretty low to the fret board. Thank you again for the response :)
